The Milford Oyster Festival is a food festival drawing tens of thousands to historic downtown Milford and Fowler Field over a Friday-evening kickoff and a full Saturday. Dozens of East Coast oyster growers shuck on the harbor while six live bands, Marenna Amusements midway rides, a classic car show, an arts-and-crafts marketplace, and a kayak race fill the day.
