The Durham Fair is an agricultural fair taking over the town green and surrounding fairgrounds every late September since 1916. Four days of prize livestock, a giant vegetable hall, craft and home-arts competitions, a midway, and grandstand concerts draw crowds from across the state. Adult admission is $20 Friday through Sunday and $10 on Thursday; children 11 and under are free.
